I get the opportunity to work on various projects and gain experience in the field daily. My technical skills as well as my communications and problem-solving skills are called upon every day. This great range of challenges makes the job exciting! In addition, there’s plenty of support from colleagues and the company, and there’s a pleasant work atmosphere. Your work is appreciated, and there are plenty of opportunities for advancement; after five years I got the opportunity to become Site Manager. I’m still grateful for this opportunity.

As a recently graduated Industrial Engineer interested in economics, I started as a Calculator. After half a year I got my first experience as Assistant Project Manager. Then I got the opportunity to successfully complete a first project myself. The support of colleagues who know an answer to everything makes it even better to work at ITB. After all, you spend the greater part of your day with them.

The profession of Design Engineer has been modernised tremendously in recent years. Our projects are developed more and more in graphics cloud workplaces. This has the advantage that as a designer you’re part of a team immediately, at the start of a project. Our electrical plans are shared with other contractors in real time, so conflicts are detected in the design phase. Both in the office and onsite, everyone concerned has access to the latest project data and designs.
